GASTRONOMY GASTRONOMY

Paella
In Valencia we are proud of our healthy Mediterranean diet, characterized by the use of a wide variety of fresh produce. It would be difficult to decide which are the best dishes due to the great variety on offer, but we can say which are the most typical of the area, such as the paella, arroz a abanda (rice with mixed sea food), served with alli oli (garlic mayonnaise). Drinks such as horchata with fartons (tiger nut mild served with special pastries) agua de valencia (an alcoholic drink based on orange juice) and sangria. Finally ice creams in flavours made locally such as turrón, leche merengada and sorbets in different refreshing flavours.
